Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Pospolity motylek, pojawiający się w dwu pokoleniach: od V do pocz. VII oraz w VIII. Zaniepokojony łatwy jest do zauważenia na wrzosowiskach w ciągu dnia w czasie ucieczki. Gąsienice żerują w VI i VII oraz VIII i IX na wrzosie. Poczwarki zimują w oprzędach na ziemi.
