Taxon description
Palearktyczny gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w Europie od Wysp Brytyjskich i północnej Fennoskandii aż do krajów śródziemnomorskich, ale w miarę posuwania się na południe coraz rzadziej spotykany. W Polsce dość pospolity od Bałtyku aż po Sudety i Karpaty. Występuje zarówno na polach i łąkach jak i na terenach leśnych, przeważnie na glebach wilgotnych pod gnijącymi szczątkami roślinnymi, napływkami, w grzybach i wśród mchów.
