Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Irlandii oraz południowych części Anglii i Szwecji aż do Francji (bez obszaru śródziemnomorskiego), północnych Włoch i Siedmiogrodu; najdalej na wschód wysuniętymi stanowiskami są Jarosławl i Woroneż w ZSRR. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich, nie znany jednak jeszcze z niektórych krain. Znajdowany w gniazdach trzmieli Bombus lapidarius (Fabr.) oraz na kwiatach różnych roślin zielnych.
