Taxon description
Klimaszewski 1967:
Dane o występowaniu tego gatunku w Polsce podawane przez Karla (1935), Smreczyńskiego (1954) i Szulczewskiego (1927) odnoszą się do Aphalara polygoni Först. Ponieważ Aphalara calthae (L.) do niedawna nie odróżniano od innych, bliskich gatunków (Aphalara polygoni Först. i Aphalara borealis Hesl.-Harr.), rozmieszczenie tego gatunku, niewątpliwie dość lokalnego, jest mało zbadane. Prawdopodobnie występuje w całej Palearktyce z wyjątkiem skrajnie południowej części. Żyje wyłącznie na knieci błotnej — Caltha palustris L.
