Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, Azja Środkowa.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje na czubkach pędów i liściach wierzbownic — Epilobium montanum L., Epilobium alpestre (Jacq.) Krock., Epilobium obscurum Schreb., Epilobium palustre L., Epilobium parviflorum Schreb. Powoduje silne zwijanie się zaatakowanych liści i pędów.
