Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek zamieszkujący obszary górskie w środkowej i południowej części Europy, w Azji Mniejszej i na Kaukazie; w Alpach szwajcarskich występuje na wysokościach od około 1200 do 2500 m n.p.m. Występowanie w Polsce winno być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami, gdyż notowany jest jedynie z jednego stanowiska. Poławiany od czerwca do września na pastwiskach i halach, górskich w ekskrementach owiec, kóz i kozic.
