Gatunek znany z całej prawie Europy (prócz północnej części Fennoskandii), wykazywany również z Syberii. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Łowiony pod opadłym listowiem i w gnijących grzybach.
