Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek występujący w zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, notowany ponadto z jednej południowej prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany, wykazany tylko z dwu stanowisk, przy czym występowanie na Śląsku Dolnym winno być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami, brak bowiem w zbiorach okazów dowodowych z tego obszaru (W. Kolbe 1921b). Wymagania ekologiczne nie znane; poławiany wśród opadłych liści.
