Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w południowej i środkowej części Europy, na północ sięgający do Wysp Brytyjskich i środkowych prowincji Szwecji, a na wschód do Kaukazu i Azji Mniejszej. Wszędzie, również w Polsce, rzadko spotykany, znany u nas tylko z czterech stanowisk. Występuje w grzybach kapeluszowych i hubach, zwłaszcza żółciaka siarkowym — Laetiporus sulphureus (Bull. ex Fr.) Murr.
