Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w południowej i środkowej części Europy, na Wyspach Brytyjskich i w południowej części Fennoskandii, ponadto notowany z Afryki Północnej, Kaukazu i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce rozmieszczony prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, ale nie znany jest jeszcze z wielu krain. Wiele danych o występowaniu w Polsce opiera się na znaleziskach sprzed około stu lat. Znajdowany przeważnie w grzybach kapeluszowych, rzadziej pod opadłymi i gnijącymi liśćmi oraz wśród mchów.
