Taxon description
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu, opisany z Czarnohory w Karpatach Wschodnich, wykazywany następnie z nielicznych stanowisk górskich w Alpach Julijskich, Lesie Czeskim, Małej Patrzę i ukraińskich Karpatach. W Polsce dotychczas nie stwierdzony, lecz istnieje możliwość znalezienia go w Bieszczadach. Ogólnikowe wzmianki o występowaniu w Karpatach opierają się na danych odnoszących się do znalezisk poza naszą granicą. Chrząszcze znajdowano pod gnijącymi liśćmi buka i igliwiem świerka oraz na grzybach porastających stare drzewa.
