Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek zamieszkujący południową i środkową część Europy, notowany nadto z Algierii, Danii i południowej Szwecji, docierający na wschód do Azji Mniejszej, Kaukazu, Syberii i Mongolii. W Polsce należy do rzadkości faunistycznych. Jest znany tylko z okolic Przemyśla. Notowano go nadto ze Śląska Dolnego na podstawie danych sprzed przeszło 120 lat, co wymaga potwierdzenia nowym materiałem dowodowym. Bionomia poznana niedostatecznie; postacie dojrzałe poławiano od marca do listopada, głównie na słonawiskach.
