Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Gatunek śródziemnomorski, znany także z Azji Środkowej. Sporadycznie występuje również w środkowej Europie: Szwajcaria, Węgry, Polska.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z migdału na rdestowate, na których tworzy niekiedy rasy anholocykliczne. U nas znaleziony na rdeście — Polygonum persicaria L.
