Taxon description
Europa, Zakaukazie, Azja Środkowa.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na kozibrodzie — Tragopogon pratensis L. i Tragopogon orientalis L., rzadziej na wężymordzie — Scorzoneura hispanica L. Kolonie tej mszycy odwiedzane są zwykle przez mrówki.
