Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek europejski o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu i wymaganiach ekologicznych. Przez niektórych autorów traktowany jako odmiana B. pulicarius (L.). Pewne oznaczenie okazów uzyskuje się tylko przez zbadanie organów kopulacyjnych samców. W Polsce notowany tylko z sześciu krain, przy czym większość danych o rozmieszczeniu opiera się na znaleziskach w ubiegłym stuleciu.
