Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony prawie w całej Palearktyce, w Europie od środkowych części południowych półwyspów aż do najdalszych krańców północnych. Wykazuje zróżnicowanie na kilka podgatunków, których rozmieszczenie nie jest dokładnie poznane. W Polsce pospolity na całym obszarze, nie znany jeszcze tylko ze Wzgórz Trzebnickich. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych, gdzie dociera do wysokości około 2000 m n.p.m.
