Taxon description
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w prawie całej Europie (prócz północnej części Fennoskandii), wykazywany również z Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej i zachodniej Syberii. Żyje na otwartych, słabo ocienionych miejscach, szczególnie na glebach piaszczystych lub piaszczysto-gliniastych, ale nie jałowych, spotykany często na gruntach uprawnych i ugorach.
