Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek ograniczony do górzystych krain w południowo-wschodniej Europie oraz w południowo-wschodniej części Europy Środkowej. W Polsce znany z prawie całego łuku Karpat, w Tatrach sięga co najmniej do 2200 m n.p.m. (Czerwone Wierchy, Granaty). Zasiedla głównie otwarte przestrzenie pokryte niską roślinnością. Najczęściej występuje powyżej górnej granicy lasu, zwłaszcza w strefie kosodrzewiny, znajdowany przeważnie pod mchem, porostami, butwiejącymi liśćmi i kamieniami.
