Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony prawie w całej Europie z wyjątkiem jej niektórych skrajnych części północnych i południowych, notowany również z Kaukazu. W Polsce bardzo rzadko spotykany, znany zaledwie z kilku stanowisk. Żyje w chodnikach wydrążonych przez siebie w glebie gliniastej i piaszczystej, zwykle na stromych pobrzeżach rzek oraz na pionowych ścianach dołów po wybranej glinie w pobliżu cegielni.
