Kawecki 1985:
Rozsiedlenie szerokie: podawany prócz Europy z obydwu Ameryk i Bliskiego Wschodu. Wymaga to jednakże rewizji, wobec traktowania go w niektórych rozpowszechnionych kluczach jako synonimu Carulaspis visci (Schr.). Rośliny żywicielskie: rodzina Pinaceae, w Polsce na jałowcu.
