Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek znany z prawie całej Europy z wyjątkiem Fennoskandii i ZSRR, notowany również z Tnrcji. W Polsce wykazany tylko z południowo-zachodniej części kraju, przy tym większość danych oparta jest na znaleziskach, z ubiegłego stulecia. Występuje na suchych resztkach zwierzęcych w sąsiedztwie nor borsuków i królików, czasami również w gniazdach myszy i kretów.
