Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, Azja Środkowa, ?Ameryka Północna.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z wierzb — Salix amygdalina L. i innych Salix L. sp. na różne rośliny baldaszkowate — Aegopodium podagraria L., Heracleum sphondylium L., Pastinaca sativa L., Archangelica officinalis Hoffm., Conium maculatum L. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
