Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Ameryka Północna.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z kaliny — Viburnum opulus L. na turzyce — Carex gracilis Curt. i inne — Carex L. sp., kosmatkę — Luzula pilosa (L.) Willd., wełniankę i pałkę wodną. Na kalinie powoduje zwijanie się liści. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
