Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986b:
Gatunek europejski, rozprzestrzeniony od północnych prowincji Fennoskandii oraz Karelii przez całą środkową Europę aż do Francji, środkowych Włoch, północnej Serbii oraz Siedmiogrodu. W Polsce dość rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Zasiedla głównie drzewa stojące pojedynczo, unikając drzew rosnących w głębi lasu. Znajdowano go pod zmurszałą korą drzew liściastych, zwłaszcza topól, osik, wierzb, olch i jaworów.
