Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986b:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w prawie całej Europie, w Fennoskandii sięgający do najdalszych krańców północnych, a w południowej części kontynentu występujący lokalnie na obszarach górzystych; notowany ponadto z Kaukazu i Syberii. W Polsce, choć jest brak udokumentowanych danych z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Jest spotykany w przegrzybiałym drewnie i pod zmurszałą korą, zarówno drzew liściastych, jak i iglastych.
