Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa: Holandia, Belgia, Niemcy, Polska, Włochy.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na trawach, u nas znaleziony na kostrzewie owczej — Festuca ovina L., szczeciniastej — Festuca duriuscula L. i czerwonej — Festuca rubra L. Kolonie tej mszycy odwiedzane są zawsze przez mrówki.
