Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek zamieszkujący południową i środkową część Europy, na północ docierający do Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii i południowej Fennoskandii, a na wschód przez Syberię do Mongolii. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie znany jeszcze z wielu krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Występuje na otwartych terenach piaszczystych, żwirowiskach, skałach, przydrożach i polach. Żeruje na różnych gatunkach lnicy — Linaria Mill. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od wczesnej wiosny do jesieni.
