Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Gatunek dość pospolity, motyl pojawia się w dwu pokoleniach: w IV i V oraz VII i VIII. Gąsienice żerują w VI i odpowiednio w VIII i IX na wierzbach, topolach i osikach pomiędzy liśćmi zespolonymi przędzą. W ten sam sposób budują oprzędy w celu przepoczwarczenia się. Zimują poczwarki.
