Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Motyl rzadszy od obydwu poprzednich gatunków, występuje w dwu pokoleniach: pierwsze w V i VI, drugie w VII i VIII. Gąsienice, żerujące pomiędzy zespolonymi liśćmi topoli, osiki, wierzby zimują w oprzędach w drugim pokoleniu — pierwsze pokolenie gąsienic zjawia się w VI i VII. Gąsienice budują oprzędy między liśćmi rośliny żywicielskiej.
