Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Gatunek pospolity, pojawiający się w dwu pokoleniach. Motyl lata w V i VI oraz VII i VIII, gąsienice żerują w VI i VIII oraz VIII do X na wierzbach, topolach i osikach pomiędzy liśćmi, jak trzy gatunki poprzednie (Clostera anachoreta, C. curtula, C. anastomosis). Zimują poczwarki w oprzędach między liśćmi na ziemi.
