Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek pospolity w strefie tropikalnej i obszarów przylegających. Kornik daktylowiec jest niekiedy zawlekany do Polski z orzechami. Chrząszcza tego nie zalicza się do fauny krajowej.
