Prószyński et Staręga 1971:

Gatunek alpejsko-karpacki, czasem spotykany także na nizinach. Żyje w ściółce dość wilgotnych lasów oraz pod kamieniami na polanach itp. W Tatrach łowiony do około 2200 m n.p.m.
