Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Bardzo charakterystyczny, spłaszczony pająk, pospolity, choć dotychczas niezbyt często wykazywany. Żyje pod odstającą korą drzew, zwłaszcza sosen, odgrywa pewną rolę w ograniczaniu żyjących pod korą szkodników sosny, np. korowca Aradus cinnamomeus Panzer (Prószyński 1962).
Występuje w całej Europie.
