Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Gatunek opisany z Finlandii, szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Skandynawii, gdzie w Szwecji dociera do skrajnych prowincji północnych; notowany ponadto z Karelii oraz nielicznych stanowisk w Niemczech, Austrii i na Węgrzech. W Polsce niedawno odkryty na dwu stanowiskach na podstawie złowionych nielicznych osobników. Zasiedla lasy o pierwotnym charakterze. Chrząszcze łowiono pod korą martwych stojących świerków i sosen oraz na porośniętych śluzowcami pieńkach jodły.
