Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich, północnej Fennoskandii i Karelskiej SRR przez całą środkową Europę aż do Pirenejów, środkowych Włoch, Dalmacji i Siedmiogrodu. W Polsce dość rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany. Występuje głównie na terenach nizinnych i pagórkowatych w starych przestojach drzew, przeważnie sosen i świerków, rzadziej buków i olch, znajdowany również pod mchem i odstającą korą na starych pniach i pieńkach, oraz w ich otoczeniu pod mchem i opadłym listowiem, a wiosną na kwitnących roślinach.
