Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w znacznej części Palearktyki, od Wysp Brytyjskich po Koreę, w Europie występuje od krajów śródziemnomorskich do północnej części Fennoskandii i Karelii. Żeruje na różnych gatunkach topól i wierzb, zaliczany jest do szkodników upraw wierzby koszykarskiej.
