Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Szkocji, południowych prowincji Fennoskandii oraz Karelii aż do Francji, północnych Włoch, Bośni i Bułgarii; wykazywany też z Algierii, W środkowej Europie występuje częściej na terenach górzystych niż na niżu. Prawdopodobnie występuje na całym obszarze kraju, nie jest jednak znany jeszcze z wielu krain. Chrząszcz ekologicznie związany z lasami iglastymi; przeważnie poławiany na gałęziach świerka; wieczorem pojedynczo na runie pod drzewami, a zimą wśród mchów,
