Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek pospolity, występuje szerokim pasem w północnej części Holarktyki. W Polsce notowany zarówno z terenów nizinnych jak i górskich, gdzie wkracza do regla górnego. Znajdowany pod gnijącymi roślinami w ekskrementach bydlęcych i w pryzmach nawozu.
