Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony od zachodniej Europy przez środkową Europę i południową Syberię aż do środkowej Azji, notowany również z dwu południowych prowincji Szwecji oraz z północnej Afryki. Występuje w głębszych, stałych, zarośniętych zbiornikach wodnych, zwłaszcza w stawach, dużych gliniankach i starorzeczach.
