Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący południową i środkową część Europy (najdalej wysuniętym na wschód znanym stanowiskiem jest Moskwa), notowany poza tym z Danii i południowej Szwecji. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko znajdowany, wykazywany tylko z czterech krain, przeważnie na podstawie znalezisk z XIX wieku. Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest poznana. Postacie dojrzałe były poławiane na suchych, nasłonecznionych południowych zboczach.
