Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu; wykazywany z niewielu stanowisk w Anatolii, na Ukrainie, Węgrzech, Słowacji, w Austrii, Polsce i Niemczech. W Polsce występuje lokalnie na nielicznych stanowiskach w trzech południowych krainach. Chowacz kserotermofilny, występujący w miejscach suchych i nasłonecznionych — na łąkach, wzgórzach, przydrożach i w jasnych zaroślach. Żyje na szałwi łąkowej — Salvia pratensis L. i szałwi omszonej — S. nemorosa L.
