Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa: Anglia, Szwecja, Dania, Holandia, Niemcy, Polska, Austria, ZSRR (Rosja, Ukraina). W Karpatach Wschodnich zastąpiony przez podgatunek Delphiniobium junackianum sylvanae Knechtel et Manolache, 1942.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na młodych pędach i spodniej stronie liści ostróżeczki ogrodowej — Consolida Ajacis (L.) Schur, ostróżki — Delphinium L. sp., Delphinium barlovii Lindl, (hört.) i tojadu — Aconitum L. sp., Aconitum variegatum L. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
