Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i północnej Fennoskandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do Francji, Włoch i północnych Bałkanów. W Polsce na terenach nizinnych spotykany rzadko i lokalnie, w górach częściej. Występuje przeważnie nad szybko płynącymi wodami. Znajdowany wśród mchów porastających pobrzeża potoków i strumieni oraz na drewnianych budowlach nadwodnych.
