Taxon description
Kawecki 1985:
Pochodzi z północno-wschodniej Azji; rozwleczony po całym świecie, do Polski prawdopodobnie zawleczony z Węgier. Polifag; uważany za jednego z najgroźniejszych szkodników sadów na świecie.
Wykryty jedynie w okolicy Wadowic w kilku miejscowościach na drzewach owocowych, gdzie był zwalczany jako szkodnik kwarantannowy (Kawecki 1950); później nie wykryty nigdzie w kraju.
