Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek zamieszkujący w środkowej i południowo-wschodniej części Europy, w Azji Mniejszej i krajach kaukaskich. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk położonych głównie w południowej części kraju. Występuje na stanowiskach roślinności kserotermiczne, przeważnie na podłożu wapiennym lub gipsowym. Żeruje na szałwi łąkowej — Salvia pratensis L. i sz. omszonej — S. nemorosa L.
