Taxon description
Europa: Anglia, Holandia, Francja, Niemcy, Polska, Rumunia, europejska część ZSRR.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje na jabłoni — Malus domestica Borb., powodując charakterystyczne zwijanie się brzegów liści, które zabarwiają się na czerwono. Cykl rozwojowy kończy się już w połowie lata.
