Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Ural, Kaukaz, Anatolia.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z jarzębiny — Sorbus aucuparia L. na przyziemne części dzwonków i jasieńca. Na jarzębinie powoduje wiosną zwijanie się liści i zbijanie się ich w luźne gniazda.
