Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Europie od krajów śródziemnomorskich aż do Wysp Brytyjskich, południowych prowincji Norwegii i Finlandii oraz północnej Szwecji i Karelii. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich, nie znany jednak jeszcze z wielu krain. Spotykany wśród rozkładających się szczątków roślinnych, w nawozie i pod opadłymi liśćmi.
