Szelegiewicz 1968:
Gatunek borealno-alpejski, znany z Islandii, Szwecji, Anglii, Danii, Polski, ZSRR (półwysep Kola), Alp (Austria) i Pirenejów (Francja).
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na czubkach pędów borówki pijanicy i bażyny — Empetrum nigrum L.
