Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Gatunek prawie kosmopolityczny.
Holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje na spodniej stronie liści lipy drobnolistnej - Tilia cordata Mill, i lipy szerokolistnej - Tilia platyphyllos Scop. W cyklu rozwojowym brak bezskrzydłych dzieworódek. Produkuje bardzo duże ilości spadzi.
